14 Jan 2002: Release 0.2.0a launched!

I've added several major extensions, including support for more languages, a more modular design, extended template service methods and some extra directives. Development has been moved to SourceForge so we'll have to see how that goes.

Additionally, there is now a test suite for language support, which means that it is easier to configure Jostraca for new languages.

Error handling is still terrible, so this will be the next big focus for release 0.3.

It has taken over a year to bring out this release. No-one should underestimate the amount of time and work involved in an open source project, especially at the start were you are still building interest, trying to find decent hosting and doing everything yourself. I can see why there are so many abandoned projects on SourceForge. All I can say is, if you want to get into writing open source software, be prepared for the long haul.
